In response to the current situation happening in Ukraine, a consultation center for humanitarian aid, has been opened in Hamamatsu Intercultural Center. The center helps with support for Ukrainians ( given or received) and Refugee Status in Japan etc.

At this consultation center, we will deal with mainly the following four items. We will continue to add/update this according to necessity.
- Accepting offers of assistance for Ukrainians.
- Helping people who require assistance and consulting with them
- Information on donation offices in Hamamatsu (Updated as of 15 April)
- Providing other information on fundraising and other forms of support
For People Who Can Offer Assistance
We are accepting offers of support from companies, organizations and individuals in Hamamatsu for the reception of Ukrainian refugees.
If you offer to provide any support to refugees from Ukraine who take refuge in Hamamatsu, such as: employment, supplies, money, etc., we will share that information with the city and we may ask for your cooperation in developing a future support system. We will not make the names of any companies, organizations and individuals who have made offers to support us public at this time.

Hamamatsu City has been working with the Ukrainian government to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine and livelihood support to those who have fled to Hamamatsu from Ukraine.
Donations will be accepted as follows.
Donations via the Furusato Nozei (Home Town Tax Donations) Website

Donations in cash to the Japanese Red Cross “Humanitarian Crisis Relief Fund for Ukraine” can be made in Hamamatsu City Hall and in the Social Welfare Division of every ward office in Hamamatsu.
