HICE is currently accepting donations to support the Afghan refugees living in Hamamatsu and their ability to lead a stable and independent life.
An Afghan woman who fled from Afghanistan in May 2022 is currently studying at a Japanese language school in Hamamatsu as a foreign exchange student. As a result of the Taliban’s rise to power in August 2021, her fears of oppression began to rise and she fled to Japan – ending up in Hamamatsu by chance.
She is currently receiving no public assistance, and it is becoming increasingly difficult for her to continue her Japanese language studies, which she needs to become independent, due to lack of funds.
As a result, “Actions for Afghans” (AFA) has recommended that we provide a Safe Livelihood Assistance Grant to evacuees from Afghanistan living in Hamamatsu. We encourage you all to please donate if you can!
【Tax Deductions】 Individuals are eligible for income tax and residence tax deductions.
Corporate tax deductions are also possible.
