On the 13th of February 2022, the documentary “A Plastic Ocean”, which was shown in over 70 countries, was screened at the Hamamatsu Global Fair. 28 people viewed the film in person at the venue (CREATE Hamamatsu) and a further 52 people watched online via a live-stream. The following comments were collected from the audience:
“The scene which showed birds stomachs full of plastic were extremely hard-hitting!”
“i was able to watch the film online with my kids and share with them the gravity of this issue. We were then able to discuss what we saw together, so I think that’s a really valuable use of time”
“I watched it with 3 other child-care workers. When I watched I thought, “What should we do for our children?” To raise children with an awareness of these kinds of issues, I think that we raise the children to experience the earth by themselves. So, I want to share that with the children.”
