Children who don’t have Japanese citizenship and who wish to attend Japanese school can apply during this period to the schools they wish to attend. A bilingual member of staff will explain the Japanese school system and preparations required for entering school.

Reception time: 9:00am～4:00pm
Eligibility: Children starting 1st grade in April 2024 and their guardians
What to bring: Residence cards (zairyu card) of the guardian and child, personal seal (inkan)
How to apply: Come directly to the Board of Education (Parent and child)
